New Year Round up for Windsor
Well, we have been a bit lax about keeping this blog up to date, so here is a summary of recent events.
Waitrose finally reopened. Big and brash with a long escalator. The fourth floor of St thinguumy's carpark used to always be full. Now level 6 is always full because that is where there is access to the supermarket directly from the car park.
Anthony Worrel Thomson has opened a new steakhouse (he probably calls it a bistro) down the bottom end of Peascod Street.
A new indian/thai place has opened close to riverside station.
The scuba shop is still in business after 6 moths so congrats to them.
Alexandra gardens look a total mess after the skating rink was removed. They will have just enough time to sort the grass out before the ferris wheel comes back and scuffs it up again.
