Hurricane for Alexandra Park
Go ahead has been given for a life size WW2 Hawker Hurricane to be placed in Alexandra Park as a permanent memorial to Sir Sidney Camm, the designer of this astounding aeroplane. Sidney Camm was born in Windsor and the planes were produced in vast numbers at a factory in langley during the Second World War.
