Football in Windsor

Windsor and Eton FC

Our local team, Windsor & Eton FC was formed back in August 1892. "The Royalists" as they are known have loyal supporters who come to watch them play in the The British Gas Southern League Divison One South and West.

The home ground is Stag Meadow down the southern end of St. Leonards Road. It has terracing all the way around the ground, plus a new turnstile block and an extension to the covered terracing on the far side of the ground. This led to the Isthmian League awarding the ground a 'A' grade status.

At the moment we have the first Team and a youth team. At present we do not know if we will have a reserve team or not.

Morgaro Gomez who is currently playing for Rangers was once a Windsor team member.

Bary Davies, the BBC Sport Comentator is one of our small but loyal band of devoted fans.
