Royal Berkshire Ramada PlazaOakley Court Hotel
(four stars)starstarstarstar
A truly spectacular mock-gothic victorian mansion, built by the river thames in the 1850s. Oakley Court was used in many british films in the 1960s when it was the headquarters of the Hammer studios.. It is about 3 miles upstream from Windsor town centre so it takes about 20 minutes to drive here from Heathrow, but quite frankly, we think it is worth it.. Oakley Court boasts a well equiped gym and a small but enjoyable putting golf course. A real delight in summer is the riverside garden.
