Security van robbery in Dedworth, Windsor

Local police report that two security guards delivering cash to the ATM in Tesco's supermarket in Dedworth Road were robbed on Monday 4th August 2008 at around 11am.

They were approached by a white man, 5ft 6ins to 5ft 7ins, of slim build. He was wearing a blue cagoule jacket, jeans and boots and a balaclava. The man threatened them with what is believed to be a handgun and demanded money. No-one was injured in the incident. and the robber drove off in a silver Mercedes convertible.

Windsor Museum Collection Open Day

Windsor hasn't got a museum building, but the collection of thousands of years of artifacts are temporarily on show at the Dedworth Depot on Tinker's Lane, SL4 5LR.

Saturday 3rd November from 10.45am

Free entry to all. Short talks at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm
