Archery

In past times archery was an obligation for every man over the age of 16. Nowadays a small but growing group meet at the butts in home park to practice this ancient sport.

Canoeing

Windsor and District Canoe Club is based on the banks of the River Thames in Windsor close to the leisure centre, a few hundred yards upstream from the centre of town. The easiest way to contact them is to turn up at the clubhouse on a Wednesday night from about 18:30 or email the canoe club directly on info@windsor.canoe-club.co.uk

The Club House and Grounds are in the Home Park on Datchet Road close to Windsor and Eton Riverside station. Car parking is available.

Originally founded in 1913, the Royal Albert Institute (Windsor) Lawn Tennis Club’ moved to its present location close to the relief road in the 1940s.
