This weekend (Saturday 21st November 2015) we will be switching on our Christmas lights. Last year there was, as ever, a huge turnout for the first big Windsor event of the Holiday period.  The fun begins mid afternoon with music and dance before the big switch on around 4.30 pm.

Then on 5th December we can expect even larger crowds for the Reindeer Parade. This is an opportunity for kids of all ages to meet the real Father Christmas (of course ours is the real one, this is Windsor after all).

December is a great time to revisit Windsor Castle as her Majesty always ensures that visitors get to enjoy a beautifully festive set of decorations adorning the state apartments.

There is a free “Carols on the Hill” singalong on the 18th December with music provided by the band of the Household Cavalry. Come to the gates of Windsor Castle for a 6.00pm start.

On the 19th December our regular street market returns to Peascod Street. A great time to shop for last minute gifts and treats.
