The roundabout and two traffic islands on the A308 that were removed for the Olympics are to be brought back this March.

The roundabout on the Maidenhead Road at the junction with Mill Lane and Parsonage Lane was removed in June 2012 to assist the flow of traffic to the parking for the Eton Dorney rowing events.

The current layout was kept under a trial scheme, but following public consultation the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council agreed to change it back.  Work starts on converting the current layout  in March 2013.
