The largest participation event on behalf of the Prince’s Trust rolled into Windsor on Sunday as thousands of cyclists rode from Buckingham Palace in London for a distance of 45 miles to Windsor Castle to raise money for the charity.
Good weather and bright sunshine made this an enjoyable event which rasied lots of money. Over the last six years over £1.1million has been raised by the cyclists of all abilities who take on this demanding but enjoyable day. Sherlock Holmes actor Benedict Cumberbatch who is an ambassador for The Prince’s Trust was one famous participant among the crowd of cyclists who rode through central London and out through Chelsea, Putney, Richmond, Chertsey, Virginia Water, Englefiled Green and then through Windsor town centre and Clewer.
