June 2012 celebrates 60 years of the Queen’s reign and will be marked by an extended Bank Holiday weekend (2 to 5 June).  During this time a number of Windsor Diamond Jubilee Celebrations are taking place in honour of this special occasion.

The Queen: Sixty Photographs for Sixty Years

An exhibition of the Queen’s sixty year reign will run from 4 February to 28 October 2012 in the Drawings Gallery, Windsor Castle.

Windsor Parade and Muster – 19 May 2012

A unique event bring together the Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air Force in a parade through Windsor Town and Castle along with a spectacular 78 plane flypast.

Diamond Jubilee Beacon – Windsor Great Park

On 4 June thousands of beacons around the world will be lit to celebrate The Queen’s 60 year reign in the UK and as head of the Commonwealth.

A beacon in Windsor Great Park will be lit on 4th June as part of these celebrations.
